Robert Ferris Randall

This page is dedicated to my dad, R. Ferris Randall.

He has spent untold hours researching the history of our family.  Without his efforts we wouldn't have the details of that history.

While this happens to be about our family and our ancestry, you may see some common stories here that you can relate to. There have been some triumphs and some disappointments. There have been joys and sorrows. You may see some similarities to your family.  History is about everybody's family.

As humans we share similar hopes and dreams. We share a common thread of survival in the adventure that life brings to us day by day, but maybe more important is our shared desire to bring the best to life in all that we do.

Welcome to our family!.................make yourself comfortable and let's enjoy and expand the internet neighborhood.

Here is a photo of Mom and Dad when they were married in 1950.

Dad has completed a number of family history books over the years.  In addition to this one, he has completed William Ferris the Irishman 1765-1976, Ancestors and Descendants of Joseph Abbey, 1613-1997,  and Descendants of Richard Tozer of Berwick Maine, 1620-2004.

Go to this link to read a newspaper article in the Hamburg Sun about his retirement from the position of Eden, NY town assessor.

Dad was in the US Navy at the end of World War 2 and he was involved in a piece of Aviation History in 1949.  Check out the Marshall Mars magazine article.

Here is another picture of dad taken in 1947 while in the Navy but 2 years before the Marshall Mars flight.
